At Health Advocates Frontline Team (HAFT Uganda), we are committed to ensuring that every donation is used responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with our mission to improve community health and support vulnerable populations.

We value the trust our donors place in us and strive to maintain the highest standards of financial accountability and transparency.

2. How Your Donations Are Used

Donations directly support our programs and operations, including:

a) Community Health Programs

  • Medical outreach camps
  • Maternal and child health services
  • Disease prevention and health education

b) Medical Supplies & Support

  • Essential medicines
  • Medical equipment
  • Support for underserved health facilities

c) Vulnerable Group Support

  • Children and youth programs
  • Support for low-income families
  • Emergency medical assistance

d) Operational Costs

  • Staff and volunteer coordination
  • Transport and logistics
  • Technology and communication systems

3. Allocation of Funds

We aim to ensure that the majority of donations go directly to programs.

Typical allocation structure

  • 70% – 85%: Program services and field activities
  • 10% – 20%: Operational and administrative costs
  • 5% – 10%: Fundraising and outreach

Note: These percentages may vary depending on project needs and funding levels.

4. Donation Processing & Security

We take financial security seriously.

Donations may be processed through:

  • Secure online payment gateways (e.g., Stripe)
  • Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel)
  • Bank transfers

We do not store sensitive financial details such as card numbers or PINs.

All transactions are handled through secure, compliant third-party providers.

5. Financial Reporting

We are committed to maintaining clear and accurate financial records.

Our accountability practices include:

  • Internal financial tracking and reporting
  • Periodic financial reviews
  • Documentation of all expenditures

Where applicable, summaries of our financial activities may be shared with donors, partners, or stakeholders upon request.

6. Project Updates & Impact Reporting

We believe donors should see the impact of their contributions.

We provide updates through:

  • Website news and blog posts
  • Email newsletters
  • Social media updates
  • Field reports and success stories

These updates highlight how funds are used and the outcomes achieved.

7. Anti-Fraud & Ethical Practices

HAFT Uganda maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward:

  • Fraud
  • Corruption
  • Misuse of funds

We implement internal controls and oversight mechanisms to ensure all funds are used appropriately.

8. Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable.

However, refunds may be considered in cases of:

  • Duplicate transactions
  • Unauthorized payments

Requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction via info@haft-ug.com.

9. Donor Rights

As a donor, you have the right to:

  • Receive acknowledgment of your donation
  • Request information on how funds are used
  • Ask questions about our programs and finances
  • Have your personal information protected

10. Partner & Funding Transparency

We may collaborate with:

Where partnerships involve funding, we ensure transparency in how funds are allocated and utilized.
