Amos and Peter were once trapped in a cycle of desperation, with no guidance, no opportunities, and no hope for the future. Their only means of survival was stealing food just to get by.

One day, while stealing bananas from a plantation, they were caught and subjected to a severe beating by members of the community. It was at this critical moment that HAFT’s founder intervened and rescued them—offering not punishment, but a second chance at life.

Despite their difficult past, both boys had a foundation worth building on. Amos had completed primary school but lacked the means to continue, while Peter had dropped out in Senior 2 due to financial hardship.

In 2018, their lives changed when they received sponsorship from Dave Robinson , who supported them through their secondary education.

Peter’s Journey:
Peter successfully completed Senior 4 in 2020. Today, he works in a shop in Kampala, earning an honest living and supporting his family—a powerful transformation from survival to stability.

Amos’s Journey:
Amos completed Senior 4 in 2022 and has continued his academic journey. As of 2024, he is pursuing Senior 6 (A-Level), demonstrating resilience, determination, and a commitment to building a brighter future.

Their story is a testament to the power of intervention, education, and compassion. With the right support, even the most vulnerable children can rise above their circumstances.

Your contribution helps us identify, rescue, educate, and empower more children like Amos and Peter—turning hopelessness into independence.
