School reopens in weeks. For thousands of girls in Kabarole, Kasese, and Kamwenge, that reopening comes with a silent fear: what will I use when my period comes?

The Problem Is Simple — and Solvable

Without a sanitary pad, a girl stays home. Missing four days every month adds up to nearly 50 school days a year — exams failed, lessons lost, confidence eroded. For many girls, this is the beginning of dropping out entirely.

A reusable pad kit changes everything. It lasts up to two years, costs nothing after the first donation, and keeps a girl in class every single day of the school term.

Our Goal: 500 Kits Before School Opens

Our team is currently preparing the next batch of reusable pad kits for distribution across seven primary schools in Kabarole District. We need 500 kits — enough to cover every girl identified as being in need by our community health workers this term.

  • Each kit includes four washable pads, a storage pouch, and hygiene instructions
  • Production is done locally by trained women in our pad manufacturing program
  • Distribution is handled by our volunteer health workers, with in-school health education included

What Your Donation Does

  • $10 — one complete pad kit for one girl for one full school year
  • $50 — five kits plus a health education session for the whole class
  • $200 — equips an entire primary school class of girls
  • $500 — covers a full school's distribution, reaching every girl in need
"When I got my pad kit, I stopped counting the days until my period. Now I count the days until the next exam — because I plan to pass."
— Patience, P.7, Kabarole District

The Clock Is Running

School opens soon. Every contribution made now goes directly into pad production and delivery. There is no administrative delay — our team is ready to move the moment funds arrive.
